Here is a list of new research articles as I find them. There is no real order in this.
Neurotoxic effects of mercury exposure in dental personnel. Geir Bjørklund, Bjørn Hilt, Maryam Dadar, Ulf Lindh, Jan Aaseth BCPT 27 December 2018 LINK — This review again shows a direct link to serious neurotoxic effects of mercury in Dental personnel. Ignored by the dental industry. “…compared with non‐Hg‐exposed individuals, dental personnel reported more often neurobehavioural problems, reduced psychomotor speed, reduced cognitive flexibility, attention deficits, as well as memory loss, fatigue and sleep problems. Of these symp-toms, memory loss may be the most important. Dental person-nel’s exposure to Hg during their work with dental amalgam may provide a reasonable explanation for these findings.”
Examining the role of nickel and NiTi nanoparticles promoting inflammation and angiogenesis. Anup K. Srivastava et al. Journal of Immunotoxicology Volume 19, 2022 – Issue 1
“There are significant biocompatibility issues in metallic implants that may be missed because humans respond to nickel ions and nano-/micro-sized NiTi particles much differently than rodents in the context of immune-signaling TLR-4. NiTi alloy can generate nanoparticles (NP) in vivo (i.e. “wear” particles) that have not previously been studied for their potential to induce inflammation and angiogenesis, which can lead, for example, to stent failure.”
Role of renal function in the association of drinking water fluoride and plasma fluoride among adolescents in the United States: NHANES, 2013–2016. JohnDanziger et al Environmental Research Volume 213, October 2022, 113603

Water fluoridation results in higher plasma fluoride levels in those with lower renal function. How routine water fluoridation may affect the many millions of Americans with Chronic Kidney Disease, who are particularly susceptible to heavy metal and mineral accumulation, needs to be further investigated.
